The vibrant and successful science faculty comprises of a group of highly qualified and enthusiastic teaching staff along with a high level of committed technical support.
From September 2011, the faculty will deliver science to years 7 and 8 in Key Stage 3. In years 9, 10 and 11, pupils can opt for a range of science level 2 courses including; BTEC Applied Science, BTEC Health and Social Care, Double Award GCSE Science (OCR Gateway) and Triple Award GCSE Science (separate Biology, Chemistry and Physics).
The Faculty is based in a modern suite of six fully equipped laboratories along with dedicated ICT facilities. There are also a range of extra-curricular activities provided that includes Science Club, Eco-Club and GCSE coursework drop in sessions.
